By John Ryan Comcast SportsNet Bay Area will carry the press conference featuring Jim Rice and Rickey Henderson at 9 am today. And in the case of Andre Dawson, who fell 44 votes short, 51 shy of Jim Rice, who made it in on his last try. Rickey Henderson and Jim Rice were both elected to baseball's hall of fame. Should Jim Rice get in? (maybe some people would argue about Andre Dawson and Steve Garvey, as well). Jim Rice played 3/4 of his games in an OF corner spot and 1/4 at DH. I’m sure this is not news to many, if any, but Ricky Henderson and Jim Rice were voted into the MLB Hall of Fame today. As it turns out Jim Rice was there and had picked up the tab. It's about time that Jim Rice made it into the baseball Hall of Fame. Rickey Henderson made it as well. No brainer. There are no comments for this story.
